We like the rural atmosphere; the horse farms; the incomparable views of Menemsha Pond from South Road; the trophy houses that can be glimpsed if you are quick about it; and, taking an evening off to savor the chowder, fish entrees and boiled corn at Home Port. Again, bring your own bottle and if you plan to eat out of doors, don't forget your mosquito repellant. Unless of course your view is that mosquitos need to eat too.
