	This most appealing home is offered for three weeks each year. Beginning with the last Sunday of August it is open until the second Sunday of September. Its location is exceptional. 700 feet to Main Street, less than one third of a mile to Edgartown Village center. Late August and early September is an ideal time to visit the Vineyard. There are fewer visitors, the shops are offering their summer's end sales, the restaurants are still open, the weather is usually still warm and the water also retains its warmer quality.
The house is only a short walk to Main Street, Village Shops, Restaurants and Town Beaches. Located on a quiet side street this property offers superior privacy and location. The home was completely renovated in 2000 and is in like new condition. The large deck and yard offer plenty of privacy and space to relax!
	Talk about relaxation! The hammock is a great place to relax, read a book and/or take a nap. The very large yard offers space and privacy that is unique for a Village location. The many gardens are well landscaped and feature a nice variety of native Vineyard flowers and plantings. You’ll see plenty of birds too. There are bird feeders and at least six bird houses designed to attract a nice variety of wildlife. In the front yard is a large Mimosa tree, said to be the largest on the Island.
The master bedroom (queen) features a sliding glass door that opens to the deck. The second bedroom has bunk beds and a futon sofa that opens to a double bed. The full bath offers a tub and shower. The living room features a large sectional sofa which converts to a queen. There is cable television, VCR and stereo in the living room and a small cable TV/VCR combo in the second bedroom. The master bedroom is cable ready. Internet service is via phone line although cable modem could be arranged.
	Inside, the two bedroom one bath home features mahogany flooring and woodwork. Tastefully furnished and decorated in 2000 with Vineyard collectibles, maps and prints. There is even a small “library” with a nice selection of Vineyard books, articles and history. In addition to the Vineyard touches are all the modern conveniences.
The kitchen was also redone in 2000 and features butcher block counter tops and a large table that seats six comfortably. It is fully equipped and includes gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender and many other household items to make your stay a convenient and pleasant one.
	The large wrap-around mahogany deck is ideal for summer life on the Vineyard. On the deck you’ll find quality furnishings, decorations and gas grill. A large table with four swivel chairs and umbrella is ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Two chaise lounges, four other deck chairs and end table complete the furnishings. The full basement is open and available for storing bikes and beach items. Around the corner, located on the side of the house is an outdoor shower.
